Mod Squad

As you all know, I'm head over heels for super model Angela Lindvall. She's a globally-known, all-American beauty who looks just as good riding a horse as she does in gothwear. With an uncanny resume filled with coveted jobs, including being the face of Jimmy Choo's H&M campaign and walking the runway year after year in the Victoria's Secret fashion show, she's just as much as a freak of nature as Heidi Klum due to the fact that she's given birth to two children and still maintains the bod of an 18-year-old.

I've been following her for years, so naturally, when she appeared on the cover of C magazine, a lifestyle staple for Californians, I picked it up, peered inside and oohed and aahed over her ten-page "A Day at the Museum" fashion spread. Photographed at LACMA, it serves as a tribute to mod fashion with pieces reminiscent of Audrey Hepburn's wardrobe in Two for the Road, a must-see movie for every woman who thinks grappling with her significant other is a  no no (you'll change your mind once you see how adorably Hepburn and Albert Finney bicker with each other).

C Fashion Editor, Cheryl Coulter apparently had loads of fun playing dress up with Lindvall and putting her in ginormous Alexis Bittar earrings, thick-heeled Mary Janes and all kinds of colorful shift dresses. My favorite pic is of Lindvall posing in an oversize Prada knit sweater, which is perfectly paired with dangling jeweled earrings and a Versace mini-skirt. Mod-tastic!

Unfortunately, photos of the shoot were nowhere to be found on the Internet, so I bought an issue and scanned them. However, color was not an option, so for now, you're gonna have to view the spread in black and white. Hey, it's very vintage. I'll keep trying to obtain color shots.
